When you receive your order from us your new batteries will be almost fully charged but you will still need to complete the charge before first use, the charge time will depend on your charger, just leave it on until it indicates its finished, this first step is important so do not ignore it, do not use without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, after you have used your equipment you should get a charge back into it as soon as you are able, do not leave it sitting around in a partially discharged state for any longer than absolutely necessary, never go out of your way to deliberately discharge, this will only reduce overall life span, if there are extended periods where you are not using the batteries you should remember to recharge every four weeks and do not put them away discharged, even partially, do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These are 12-volt valve regulated sealed lead acid batteries and will not leak they are both AGM and VRLA, of course they are the required deep cycle kind and they are not-hazardous so safe for on the road and indoors as well as travelling by aeroplane, but of course you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight
