The Fortress Scientific AGM1280T batteries will arrive nearly fully charged, but you should charge them before first use. This shouldn’t take long; wait for the charger to indicate it’s ready, or charge overnight if you're unsure. While it may be tempting to use them immediately, waiting for a full charge will help extend their lifespan.
The batteries may take a few cycles to reach full capacity. Avoid letting them sit uncharged; recharge them as soon as you finish using them. Fully discharging the batteries will reduce their lifespan and cost you money in the long run. If you don't use them for extended periods, recharge them every four weeks, and never store them partially discharged. Do not leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
