When you receive your order from us your new batteries will be almost fully charged but you will still need to complete the charge before first use, there should be no need for many hours, just until your charger indicates they are ready, this will of course depend on the charger capabilities, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
It may be apparent that it will take a few charges and associated use in your electric vehicle before the battery is capable of receiving a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, make sure that you charge your new batteries after each and every use, they are capable of many charges but this will reduce if you let run them down in-between, never go out of your way to deliberately discharge, this will only reduce overall life span, if for any unforeseen reason they is an extended period where you are not using the batteries make sure they are fully charged first, then recharge every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
These 12-volt batteries are valve regulated and AGM or absorbed glass mat, not need for any liquid as the acid is held within the glass mat, this means they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and or travelling, even aeroplanes but you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight, they are deep cycle which would be required in this sort of application
