The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, you do not need to leave it on for hours on end, just until the charger has indicated that it has finished, this first step is important so do not ignore it, do not use without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span
These batteries will require no general maintenance, no topping up with fluid as it has none, they are AGM and VRLA, of course with deep cycle properties that would be required in this type of application, they are also not-hazardous so safe to use in the home or on the road and for travelling by air, but you should check with your airline when you book your ticket
You should confirm the code on your mobility equipment carefully, there are many that are very similar so you order the right battery set, if in doubt look at you old batteries, check the dimensions and take note of anything written on the side of them, we have also included the physical dimensions of the battery to make certain, these batteries are made mainly of lead which is easy to be recycled, more information about recycling can be found at the foot of this page
