Below is information to help you decide whether to purchase a new set of mobility batteries for your Quickie P100 powerchair. The system utilises storage batteries; they are 35-amp-hour batteries.

Although the Quickie P100 batteries you receive will be nearly fully charged, you must fully charge them before first use. The charging time depends on the charger, so leave it plugged in until it's finished. Be patient, as this initial charge helps maximise battery life.

It can take a few charging and usage cycles to reach full capacity, which is part of the normal conditioning process. After using the devices, recharge the batteries promptly. Avoid leaving them partially discharged, as fully discharging new batteries can shorten their lifespan and lead to earlier replacements.

If you won't use your equipment regularly, fully charge the batteries before downtime and recharge them every four weeks, but don't leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
