When your replacement Quickie P120 order arrives, the batteries will be nearly fully charged, but you must fully charge them before first use. Be patient and wait for the charger to indicate that charging is finished, as this step enhances battery life.
Typically, it takes up to ten charges and some use to reach full battery capacity. Each time you use your electric vehicle, recharge it promptly—avoid leaving the batteries semi-discharged or fully discharged, as this can reduce their lifespan. If you're not using them for a while, fully charge the batteries and recharge them every four weeks, but don't leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
These 12-volt AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) and VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) batteries are deep-cycle, non-hazardous, and suitable for indoor use or electric vehicles. They do not leak and require no maintenance.
