- Quickie Standard battery set
When you receive your Quickie Standard order, the batteries will be nearly fully charged, but you must fully charge them before first use. Your charger will indicate when charging is complete, typically by a light change—don’t skip this step, as it helps set up the batteries and may extend their lifespan.
Generally, it may take several charge-and-use cycles for the batteries to reach full capacity, so recharge them after each use. Avoid letting them sit partially discharged, as fully discharging the batteries can shorten their lifespan and lead to earlier replacements. If you’re not using them for a while, recharge every four weeks and never store them discharged. Additionally, don’t leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
These 12V sealed lead-acid (VRLA) batteries use AGM technology, making them safe for indoor and outdoor use without leaking. They are also non-hazardous and safe for aeroplane travel, but always check with your airline.
