The compatible Quickie P500 batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use; charge them until your charger LED lights indicate they are ready. Don't skip this important first step; it will help set them up and may extend their overall life expectancy.
It may take a few charges and uses for your batteries to reach full capacity. This conditioning process is normal. After each use, recharge the batteries promptly, and don't let them sit discharged. Avoid fully discharging them, as this can shorten their lifespan.
If you won't use your equipment regularly, fully charge the batteries before any downtime and recharge them every four weeks, but don’t leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours.
The Quickie P500 batteries use AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) construction, are valve-regulated to prevent leakage, and require no maintenance throughout their lifespan. They are non-hazardous and safe for travel; just check with your airline when booking.
