Here you will find we have compiled information to help you make a informed decision on the purchase of new mobility batteries for your Shoprider B3 & B4 scooter, this vehicle uses deep cycle batteries to store energy required for use, the cells are 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them, they are as would be required rechargeable type of battery, deep cycle capable which would be needed in this kind of application and not-hazardous and will not spill so therefore safe to use indoors, AGM and VRLA cells, more information about these chemistries will be found below
When you receive your order from us your new batteries will be almost fully charged but you will still need to complete the charge before first use, just charge them until your charger LED lights indicate that they are ready, do not be impatient, wait until this first charge has completed before thinking about using the equipment, it will contribute to overall battery life
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process, once you have used your equipment put the batteries back on charge, do not let them sit in a partially discharged state for any longer than absolutely necessary, going out of your way to fully discharge the batteries will reduce their life span, so do not do it, there may be many reasons for the equipment not be used on a regular basis, if there are protracted periods where this is the case then ensure the batteries are charged before hand and then topped up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These are 12-volt valve regulated sealed lead acid batteries and will not leak they are both AGM and VRLA, of course they are the required deep cycle kind and they are not-hazardous so safe for on the road and indoors as well as travelling by aeroplane, but of course you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight
