Looking after your new batteries is very important, although they will need no maintenance throughout they life it does not mean they can be forgot about, charge fully upon receipt and first use, this should not take long as they will be almost fully charged when you get them, charge after each and every use, never try to run them down as will only shorten the expected life span, if not being used for long periods then charge every 6-weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours.
