They have an energy storage capacity of 4.5Ah. They are used in many applications such as portable medical equipment, UPS systems, emergency lighting and even lawn mowers. The cells are 12v and capable of deep cycling. As AGM and VRLA batteries, they are rechargeable. They are safe to handle and can be used indoors or in portable devices. They are also recyclable. The batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them before first use. This will not be necessary if they're fitted into something that is always connected to the mains, like a UPS system, which will do this job for you. The charger has LED lights that indicate whether it is still charging. You only need to charge them until they are ready, probably not very long at all; do not just use them without this initial charge, unless as stated above. Doing so can shorten the expected lifespan, so it's well worth doing.

You probably will not notice it, but it can take up to ten charges and uses of your equipment before you can receive and hold a full charge in your batteries. This is quite a normal part of the conditioning process. Each time you use your battery in a portable device, you should recharge it as soon as possible and not leave it in a semi-discharged state. We have heard of people trying to extend battery life by running them down, but it will not work with this type of battery. It will only shorten life. If the batteries are not used for extended periods, ensure they are fully charged beforehand and recharge them every four weeks, but do not leave them on the charger for more than twenty-four hours.
