This is a standard-sized battery; the physical size is listed below for your convenience, but it generally replaces the earlier 38, 40, 42, 45 & 50-amp-hour batteries.
As noted, this size battery is often used in mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs, and similar devices. This kind of use requires user intervention to charge the battery successfully, so it makes sense to follow a few simple rules to help the battery last longer.

Charge fully before first use. The battery will arrive almost fully charged, but the first charge is important. Even if you only charge it until it reaches capacity, overnight charging is best if you're in doubt.
Charge as soon as you can after every use. Do not leave the battery partially discharged for any period if you don't have to; if you do, you shorten battery life.
If not being used, charge every 8 weeks
