A pair of MK ES22-12 mobility batteries, which also replace ES20-12, is a rechargeable quality scooter and wheelchair battery double pack of two.

If you have a mobility scooter or a wheelchair, you would have heard of MK-powered batteries; they are probably the choice for all the disability market manufacturers and are generally fitted as OEMs on better vehicles. There are many pretenders to the throne, but I'm not sure why you would want to cut corners when quality is available at this price.

This set includes two MK batteries, the go-to brand for long-lasting mobility batteries; there is no point in wasting money on budget brands when you can have the real Mccoy at this price.

This offer is for a pair of MK Powered ES22-12 22ah batteries; they will directly replace the ES20-12 20ah batteries and offer 10% more miles. Also, many mobility scooter boxes might have 17ah or 18ah batteries; these are the same physical size but with bolt-down terminals. Of course, they come with new 6mm bolts, which most mobility scooter boxes will have the right terminal size for. Please note that some terminals might have 5mm bolt holes, but they usually are easy to file out to fit.

As with all mobility batteries, these MK ES22-12 that replace the ES20-12 will arrive almost fully charged, but it is always a good idea to charge new rechargeable batteries when they arrive and are first used. The best advice we could give on looking after your new batteries would be to charge them after every use, even if it's a short journey. It will do them no good if left sitting in a discharged state.

It will take around ten charges and use in the mobility scooter or wheelchair before the MK Powered ES22-12 battery truly registers a full capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through at the start of their productive life span.

If, for any reason, there will be long periods while this pair of MK ES22-12 batteries are not being used, then ensure that they are fully charged before putting them away and recharging every four to six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
