The Zipper ZI-EWB500 is a powered wheelbarrow; it works on a 24v system and is powered by two 12v batteries, which are connected within the box to output the required voltage.
Fitting the new batteries in the Zipper ZI-EWB500 box is easy, just remove the box from the wheelbarrow, undo the four philips screws to lift the lid and you will see the batteries, should not take long, maybe ten minutes.
Looking after your new batteries is important. Charge them when they arrive and are first used. Charge them after every use. If they are not being used for long periods, recharge them every five weeks to keep the cells in good order.
Environmentally Friendly:
As this battery is mostly made of Lead (Pb), which is recyclable, please do your utmost to ensure it is recycled when the time comes. Depending on use and care, it should last between 2 and 5 years, so one trip to the local recycling centre shouldn’t be an issue. If you are unsure where this is, your local council will be able to advise you.
