UberScoot manufactures a number of scooters with different wattages; this page offers replacement batteries for the 1000W and 1600W models. Both require the same set of batteries; it is the motor inside the scooter that changes the watt and power.
The standard batteries that come with the scooter are 12 ampere-hours; however, we can offer an upgrade to a 14-ampere-hour battery in the same physical size, so installation will not be a problem. The main benefit of this upgrade is the longer runtime, meaning more miles per charge. This set of batteries can be selected in the easy upgrade section.
Looking after your new UberScoot batteries:
Looking after your batteries is very important, and online you will find a vast array of advice on how best to maintain them. The most important steps you can take to look after them are listed here. To begin with, charge your battery before first use. Always charge your battery straight after use; leaving it in a discharged state will destroy it. Secondly, try not to use the battery to its full charge; this is also why upgraded batteries are a good choice. Lastly, if a period of six weeks passes without use, give them a top-up charge to keep the cells fresh, and do not leave them on the charger longer than necessary to reach a full charge.
