The jump starters manufactured by Sealey are all very high quality but vary in one way or another, perhaps higher power output, twelve-volt or twenty-four capacity. The RS103B is a high-output unit that delivers up to 2700 peak amps of starting power, but to do that, it needs high-quality sealed lead AGM batteries. That is exactly what we are offering here. A pair of sealed, non-hazardous, rechargeable, high-quality, compatible AGM 18Ah batteries. The originals that came with the jump starter would have been 19Ah. We can also offer an upgrade, as shown above. Physical size and terminals are the same, so no need to worry about installation; with a screwdriver and some patience, it’s easy to do yourself.
It's crucial to take care of your new batteries, even if they are classed as maintenance-free. All AGM batteries require maintenance throughout their lifespan, especially in a jump starter, because when it does its job, you are asking a lot of it. Before first use, make sure they arrive fully charged. After use and before storing until next time, fully charge them; never store a battery discharged. Recharge if five weeks go by without use, but not longer than needed, and try not to store on a cold floor.
