Upon receipt of your mew battery order you will note that they have a good charge, but you will still need to charge them before using for the first time, your charger will indicate to you when it has completed a charge, the light will generally change to indicate this, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
