The Ergolet Pallas-150 and Pallas-175 is a mobile stand-aid lifter designed to transfer clients in institutions such as nursing homes, hospitals, care centres and in home care. Transfer situations include short transfers from a bed to a chair/wheelchair, from wheelchair to another chair and from chair to a toilet. The heart of the hoists is the battery pack and it will not function without it as you will most certainly notice when they start to lose power. Luckily it is relativity cheap and easy to replace them if you know what to do and where to go.
You may be thinking that your battery pack does not look like ours and that you only have one. The batteries on offer are the actual batteries and what you are looking at is the casing that holds them which can be very expensive on its own. To change the batteries over inside you need to open the casing up which will be held together with a handful of screws. Once inside it is a fairly simple job to change them and shouldn’t take you longer than five minutes.

Looking after your new Pallas-150 Pallas-175 batteries
Pallas 150 and 175 is fitted with batteries that require regular charging. Ergolet recommends that the Pallas 150 and 175 is charged when it is not in use or every night. Pallas 150 is fitted with a diode which gives the following information concerning battery condition during use. When the light shines green it is at 100%, yellow means 50% and red means 20% charge left. If possible you should never let the batteries drop as low as that; a fully charged battery is a healthy battery.
