The Excel Airide-Compact and Airide-Go! is the smallest of the powered wheelchair range. These two powered wheelchairs have a small turning circle and are extremely agile. Because the backrest is foldable, the electric wheelchair has a unique design and is easily portable. The Airide-Compact and Airide-Go! are very user-friendly due to the joystick and easy-to-read display. The speed can be adjusted to improve ride comfort. The armrests are detachable and adjustable in height, width, and depth. The Airide-Compact and Airide-Go! also have swing-away footrests. The seat depth and back angle are both easily adjustable in multiple different positions for maximum comfort. To position, the arm, use the swing-away joystick. They have an electromagnetic brake and anti-puncture tyres when in the desired position.

Thinking of upgrading Excel Airide-Go! Airide-Compact batteries?
There are a few different variations of the Airide and some of them require a different set of batteries. This battery set is for the smallest versions of the Excel Airide, the Airide-Compact, and Airide-Go! require a pair of fifty ampere AGM batteries. The 40ah GEL and 50ah LiFePO4 lithium upgrades available for these powered chairs are the same physical size and will install into the same space with ease.

Taking care of your new batteries
A powered wheelchair like this one provides many users with a lifeline to the outside world and allows them to be independent. The batteries are the powerchairs' source of energy, and they cannot function without them. This is why it is critical to a) ensure the batteries are of the highest quality and b) take good care of them. Although these batteries are classified as maintenance-free, they do necessitate a regular charging schedule. This can be accomplished by fully charging the device upon delivery and before the first use. You must also ensure that they are fully charged after each use and are never left discharged. Finally, if the chair is going into storage or will not be used for an extended period, obviously make sure it is fully charged first and then top up every month with a charge to slow down the natural discharge all rechargeable batteries have.
User manual and installation
The Excel Airide-Compact and Airide-Go! comes standard with a pair of twelve-volt, fifty-ampere batteries which is what we are selling here. They are the same physical size as what you have installed, so they should be simple to replace. Because the batteries are heavy as they are filled with lead (which also makes them recyclable) may be the most difficult part of the installation. The user manual (available on the downloads tab) contains guidelines for doing this yourself; however, if you are still unsure, please contact a professional. The user manual also contains a large amount of other useful data that you should have access to in case any problems arise, so feel free to download it and keep it for reference in the future.
