Replacement Everest & Jennings Navigator mobility battery pack, valve regulated sealed lead acid rechargeable 12-volt absorbed glass mat batteries disabled VAT relief available, offered at low prices direct from warehouse

Below you will find details of a set of new mobility batteries you will require for the Everest & Jennings Navigator, the electricity supplied from the mains is stored in deep cycle batteries onboard, they are 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them, of course they are capable of deep cycling and rechargeable, two very necessary requirements in this type of installation, also they are non-spillable and not-hazardous so safe for use indoors or indeed the pavement and travelling in a electric vehicle, the cells are AGM and VRLA of which more information can be found further down the page

  • Everest & Jennings Navigator battery replacement

The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, your charger will indicate to you when it has completed a charge, the light will generally change to indicate this, you may well be impatient enough just to fit and use the equipment without charging but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life expectancy

While is not something that most will even notice but it will take a number of charges and corresponding use in the device before a full capacity charge is reached, this is a normal part of the conditioning process, when you have used your devices then put the batteries back on charge, you do not want to allow them to sit in a partially discharged state, you should never deliberately go out of your way to try fully discharge the batteries, this will only reduce its life span and cost you money in the long run, it is important to keep a charge in the batteries for long life, so if there is any period of time where they are not being used then charge before hand and top this up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours

These 12-volt batteries are very resilient and can be mounted on the side without any issues so suitable for use in electric vehicles, deep cycle capable which of course is essential in electric powered devices, no leaking, which means they can be used indoors at well as the road or pavement, they are the recommended VRLA type and benefit from AGM technology they are not-hazardous so safe for airlines but you should check with them when you book your flight

We have provided the information here only as a guide, you need to check the code on your mobility device carefully as so many of them are pretty similar so it's easy to make a mistake, you will also find we have listed the dimensions so you can make sure you are ordering the correct pack, looking at your old batteries, taking note of the dimensions and anything that may be printed on the side is probably the wisest thing to do, these batteries are mainly constructed using lead and can be easily recycled, more information on recycling can be found at the foot of this page
