The Rascal Vie is a 4mph electric mobility scooter with a range of thirteen miles in ideal conditions. It is economically priced and easy to dismantle for transporting in the back of a car, with added features such as solid puncture-proof tyres. It has a stated weight capacity of nineteen stone.

This is a pack of two 14 Ah AGM batteries required for the Rascal Vie VIESTD-RD-G10-01-014 electric mobility scooter, not the box.

Changing the batteries in Rascal Vie is relatively easy. If you turn the box upside down on a soft surface so you do not scratch the case, undo the eight Phillips-head screws around the outside, then turn it back and lift off the lid. You will see the two batteries; swap them over one at a time.

Notes for Rascal Vie Battery Change:
We noticed closed foam inserted around the battery on all the ones we have changed. Although unorthodox, these are there to stop it from rattling around in use, and they seem to do the job well. We note there is only one small pad with Velcro underneath, which appears to be doing its job again. The terminals are a little loose on some, so make sure yours are tight. You can always tighten them a little with pliers if they are loose.

Please charge your new Rascal Vie electric mobility scooter batteries when they arrive and are first used. Charge after every use; if not in use, recharge every 4 weeks to ensure a longer lifespan.
