UPS machines can be found in a wide variety of places, but wherever they are, they do an invaluable job of protecting your delicate electrical equipment. AC power is steady and unadulterated when it is first produced. On offer here is a set of three twelve-volt, nine-ampere batteries that will directly replace those currently in your UPS. Installation of new batteries:
You can replace the batteries yourself; it's a reasonably straightforward task. The only equipment needed is a screwdriver and some basic understanding of your UPS. Start by pressing the button on the UPS's left front to open the panel, then undo the screw holding the battery door in place. Because you will need to utilise the wires and packaging again, carefully remove the battery pack. Install the fresh batteries after removing the old ones from the pack. Put this pack back into the UPS and fasten it with the screw you previously removed.
Maintenance:
You don't need to worry too much about the charging schedule for these batteries, as they are being fitted into a system that is always connected to the mains. However, here are some suggestions to help them last longer. The batteries should be left unloaded after installation to fully charge and reset. Second, take good care of your UPS. Use less than 40% of the load whenever you can, don't use it as a table, and make sure there is enough ventilation. Last but not least, recharge it every few months if it is not in use for a while.
