iScooter X-02 mobility scooter battery replacement
Battery pack set replacement for iScooter X-02 electric mobility scooter. Rechargeable AGM 24v 12ah batteries with upgrade available at low cost.
The iScooter X-02 is a 4-wheel electric mobile scooter with LED headlights, anti-tip wheels, and run-flat tyres. The manufacturers quote a maximum range of 20 km from new and a single battery charge; this is untested by us, but we would think this would only be achievable in ideal conditions. But we can also offer an upgraded battery of 14ah which would indeed extend the range, it will be found in the easy upgrade drop down menu under avaiable options above.
There are two batteries in this set.
Installing the iScooter X-02 batteries is fairly simple. They are stored underneath the seat and are contained in a plastic battery box which only requires a screwdriver to open. If you need help then please seek advice from a professional.
The iScooter X-02 batteries require no maintenance, but that does not mean they do not need charging. This kind of battery is capable of many thousands of charges, but only if it is discharged a small amount. Therefore, you should charge after every use and never leave the battery partially discharged. Never charge for more than 24 hours, and if not used for long periods, charge every four to six weeks.
When bought new, the standard batteries that come with the iScooter X-02 would have been a pair of 12v 12ah sealed lead batteries. For sale, here is a direct replacement for that; however, we are able to offer an upgrade. This upgrade would allow the user to travel further between charges, and more importantly, there will be more charge left in it after use. Starting a charge from a higher percent will benefit the battery and will make it last longer overall.
