- Everest & Jennings 3H battery replacement
The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, the charger LED lights will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, you might just want to fit them and use, but that would be unwise, missing out on charging them first could shorten overall life expectancy
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, when you have used your devices then put the batteries back on charge, you do not want to allow them to sit in a partially discharged state, do not try to fully discharge the batteries, it will reduce the lifespan and cost you money in the long run, If there are extended periods where the batteries are not being used then ensure they are fully charged beforehand then recharged every four weeks but you should not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
These are 12-volt valve regulated sealed lead acid batteries and will not leak they are both AGM and VRLA, of course they are the required deep cycle kind and they are not-hazardous so safe for on the road and indoors as well as travelling by aeroplane, but of course you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight
The information we have provided on this page is a guide, you should carefully check the all of the details of your mobility equipment before ordering as many are very similar, if still in doubt you can look at your old batteries, take a note of the dimensions and anything that may be written on the side of them, this will always be the best way, we have also included the physical dimensions on this page so you can confirm, the batteries themselves have a very high lead content so they are recyclable, more detailed information about recycling lead batteries can be found on a link at the foot of this page
