Oxford manufactures several different mobility devices, including patient stand aids, slings, bath and pool hoists. A patient stand aid or hoist is vital to its user and allows them freedom of movement so it is important to look after the battery and replace it when needed. This pack of two batteries will fit into your battery pack and give the machine a breath of new life.

This compatible replacement battery uses absorbed glass mat technology and is a valve-regulated sealed lead acid battery (VRLA) (AGM). This specific battery type is suggested for this installation because, when mounted on the side, it won't leak, making it appropriate for use in either the home, health care centre or retirement homes.
Installation advice:
Replacing the batteries in your box is straightforward and the only tool you will require is a screwdriver so most people are more than capable of replacing themselves. If you require assistance please seek the advice of a professional however here is a little bit of guidance. Firstly, take the battery pack off the hoist and place on a workbench or table. There are a number of screws that need to be removed, normally six. Sometimes a security head may be present on these, if you do not have one they are available in most diy stores or even supermarkets.<br> Once you have undone these, lift off the cover to reveal two batteries inside. Take note of where the wiring goes and swap over your batteries one at a time. Close the box back up ensuring to use all the screws and thats the job finished.
