This replacement Gallagher 2M1946 battery pack needs no maintenance, but it needs to be kept charged. It will come out to you almost fully charged, but it's still a good idea to fully charge before use. If there will be long periods that it's not being used, then charge fully before you put it away, and every eight weeks to ensure it's still in good order for the following season.
