Replacement MiGM Huitong 6-DW-17 compatible battery, rechargeable sealed lead 12v batteries often used in golf trolleys and mobility scooter at a great price direct from UK warehouse.
The 6-DW-17 is a 12v 18ah battery, it is used in many devices from a golf cart trolley to mobility scooter and even in some computer battery back up systems.
It is a valve regulated lead acid battery, it will not leak even if laid on its side, it requires no maintenance except charging.
like all batteries with a similar technology it is important to keep it charged, if you only use 10% of the capacity you will get many thousands of charges and uses from the battery, so every time you use it then charge it straight after wards, this helps the battery last a lot longer.
You are probably going to use it a lot more than 10% this just means you will get less full charges from it over a full life span, just be aware of its capabilities and keep as much charge in it as you can, also as quickly as you after the use, then a battery is left discharged the plates will become damaged, reducing the charge it is able to take, on the same vein never leave the battery for long periods with a top up charge, once a month should do.
We often have this size battery with a bigger capacity, which will mean it will not be discharged as much therefore last longer between charges but still fit in the same holder
