The Quickie Salsa-Q100-R and Salsa-Q200-R are compact entry level power chairs that are finely balanced, ultra narrow, ultra compact able to manoeuvre in tight environments, perfect for indoor places. The indoor capabilities transfer to outdoors as well with its smart base technology which allows the chair to climb kerbs and traverse steep hills. This combined with the suspension will make you feel safe and comfortable while on long journeys.

The batteries that come as standard on the wheelchair are two 12v 55amp batteries and that is what is on offer here. We are also able to offer a higher ampere or GEL version via the easy upgrade section. The batteries are not-spillable, non-hazardous, require no maintenance and are capable of deep cycling and are rechargeable which is very important in this type of installation and the extra amp will allow you to travel a little further.

When the batteries are delivered to you they will be almost fully charged however you should complete a full charge before first use which should not be many hours, just until your charger indicates full. You may also notice it could also take up to ten charges and discharges in the scooter before its able to use its full range. This is completely normal so you should ensure that after every use you put the batteries back on charge until full and never leave on charge for more than 24-hours as this will damage it. If there is a period of 4-weeks or so when they will not be used, give them a top up charge to maintain health.
