The Quickie Q500-F, Q500-M and the Q500-R manufactured by Sunrise Medical is an advanced outdoor and indoor powered wheelchair that combines tight manoeuvrability and great safe, sturdy performance. The Sedeo-Pro seating system offers height adjustable sling back with straps, a wide range of optional comfort extras including seat and back cushions. This powered chair is easy to drive with its advanced controller technology, all round suspension and varying speeds allows you to travel with confidence.

Two batteries are in this set.
The standard batteries that are fitted on all versions of the Q500 are 60ah and this is what this page is selling. However when the chair was bought new you would have had the option to upgrade to larger, more powerful 80Ah versions and we also sell these too. If you are after the upgraded batteries then please select them through the easy upgrade or the alternatives tab (ours will be 75Ah but same physical size, giving you that little extra power).
Our batteries are dispatched fully charged however before first use you should complete a full charge, this will not take long so just leave on charge until charger indicates its full. It may take up to ten cycles before its able to use its full range, this is completely normal so to ensure they can reach this state you must charge after every use and try not to fully deplete the batteries. Also never leave on charge for more than twenty-four hours and if there is a period of one month of no use, top them up with charge to maintain health.
Both batteries are also available in GEL versions, whereas the 75Ah also has lithium versions. More information on these can be found on their own pages.
