The new batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged but the system will still need to complete a service charge upon installation, while this is going on the system will of course not be able to offer the full runtime backup time period until it has finished doing this, best advice would be to allow the system to run without load to start to allow the new battery energy level to reset
Batteries in this type of installation would typically have a expected life span of between 2 to five years, how it's used however will determine this, sufficient ventilation is important, preferably in a air conditioned communications room, batteries will in general use get hot if the heat cannot disperse it will shorten life span, try and keep the load below 40% if you can, while it may well be capable of more it will shorten the battery life
These batteries are very resilient and can be mounted on the side without any issues, no leaking, which means they can be used in tower or rack mountable situations, they are the recommended VRLA type and benefit from AGM technology they are not-hazardous so safe for use in critical environments
