The APC SMX3000RMLV2U and SMX3000RMLV2UNC are 2700-watt 2880VA 120v line interactive battery back-up systems, they have a physical height of 2U and can come as a conventional tower or rack-mountable. Fitting is quite easy, just remove the front Bezel and pull out the battery tray, then just replace the batteries one at a time, refer to your owner’s manual for full details

We always recommend that after fitting new batteries you allow the system to power up with load for 24-hours for it to fully reset to the new energy level, but of course this is often not convenient, batteries in this type of installation have life span of between two to five years but this can vary drastically depending on install conditions
