The I-Go Crest CSS Suspension Powerchair is travel orientated and can be broken down for transportation, it normally comes with a pair of 20ah batteries and the manufacturers test sheet quotes a distance of 15-mile, this is obviously in there perfect test environment so may be difficult for the end user to emulate, plus of course you should never run down batteries all of the way.
Charge your new batteries when they arrive and first use, if they are not being used for long periods then a recharge every four or five weeks will be required, further you should charge after every use, far better that than to allow them to sit in a discharged state.
The standard manufactured advertised battery installation for these chairs is 20ah, this offer is for a pair of 22ah to replacement them which will allow just a little bit more capacity, therefore more distance per charge.
Changing the batteries is not a difficult task, turn the box over on a surface that is not going to scratch the case, undo all of the screw fixings and the lid will then be able to be released and you can see the batteries, just change them one at a time, a ten minute job for most people from start to finish.
