After you have unpacked your new battery order from us you will note that they will have a good charge in them, regardless of this you still need to complete a full charge before first use, this would not be the case only if the battery is going in something with its own mains connected built in charger like a UPS or alarm system, your charger will indicate to you when it has completed a charge, it will probably not take very long depending on the charger, the light will generally change to indicate this, you may well be impatient enough just to fit and use the equipment without charging but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life expectancy
