When you receive your mew order of batteries from us they will have a fairly high charge in them, but never the less you still need to fully charge them before first use, it should not take that long to finish the charge, just until the charger lights indicates its ready, if really in doubt overnight will be more than enough but it's doubtful you would need to leave it that long, do not be impatient, wait until this first charge has completed before thinking about using the equipment, it will contribute to overall battery life
