When you receive your mew order of batteries from us they will have a fairly high charge in them, but never the less you still need to fully charge them before first use, you would not have to do this if it was going in something like a UPS or alarm system as this has its own charging circuit and it will do the job for you, the charger will have LED lights which will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, it probably will not take very long, do not just fit them and roll without this initial charge, it will help to extend the battery life overall
