Now that you have invested in a high quality battery you need to look after it, charging upon delivery and before first use is the first thing you should do.  If you use the vehicle often then the charging of the battery will be taken care of but if there is a period of 6-weeks when not in use then you should top up to stop the slow natural discharge of the battery.
