• WestCo Classic 12V9B-4 battery

When the battery is delivered it should be more or less fully charged however we always recommend a top up charge when you receive it and before first use. If the machine is being used on a regular basis that will keep the battery charged therefore no extra charging will be needed but if there is going to be a period of 6-weeks or so without use then you should give it a recharge to keep the cells fresh.
