Keep your new Husqvarna CTH2542-T, CTH2542-TWIN, CTH2542-XP and CTH2642-TE lawn mower tractor battery fully charged. Charge when it arrives and before the first use. If you are not using it during the winter season, then our best advice would be to remove it from the machinery, or at least disconnect it from the frame. Charge it, then store it somewhere dry, keep it off a cold garage floor, even if it's on a thick piece of timber. Recharge every eight weeks to try to overcome the natural self-discharge that will occur from non-use; do not leave it on a charger 24/7 either. This can do more damage than good. Charge it until full, then remove it from the charger.
