This range of tools is a good few years old now. But because they were built so well the vast majority are still going strong. In fact it is our belief that you would be very hard pressed to replace them with the current ranges available on the market place today making the expense of a new battery a good investment for these very hardy tools.
Charge your new battery before first use. It will take a few charges before it will be able to take a full capacity charge. This is quite normal with all rechargeable batteries. If you are a infrequent power tool user then you should charge after use and every eight weeks or so to keep the cells fresh and active. do not leave on charger for more than 24-hours as this can often do more damage than good. Its always the lack of use that is the normal early demise of the battery before its fulfilled a full and active life so try to use it as much as you can.
