If you are using this battery in something with its own mains connected power supply such as a UPS then this will take care of the charging for you. if however, it's going in a portable device then ensure you charge fully before first and after each use and every two months if not being used. it is not wise to leave the batteries in a discharged state for any longer than necessary as this will only shorten the expected life.
