Battery care is important, although they will not need any maintenance throughout their life span they will require charging, you should ensure the battery is fully charged before use and charge again as soon as you can after use, its where they are left sitting in a semi or fully discharged state that damage can occur to them and at the very least shorten life expectancy, if you are not using them then ensure they are charged at least every six weeks but do not leave them on a charger for more than twenty-four hours.
