The Invacare Storm-4 is a highly capable and modular adaptable powered wheelchair with many options and functions available to suit the user's needs. This indoor and outdoor chair is a WAV or wheelchair-accessible vehicle and can also have extras such as lights and indicators, an electric riser seat, and a tilt with speeds up to six mph. The standard fit for batteries on this model are 60ah and 73ah, This offer is for a set of 60ah GEL for longer runtime between charges. You may be able to select the 73.6 GEL. Looking after your new batteries is essential. Although they need no maintenance, they must be kept charged, ensure you charge thoroughly before first use. A much longer life will be achieved if you charge after each and every use. Try always to keep at least thirty precent of the capacity in the cells. Do not leave on the charger for more than twenty-four hours at a time and if not being used then recharge every six weeks.
The battery's chemistry is GEL, valve-regulated sealed lead, not hazardous.
