If you are using these batteries in a uninterruptible power supply, UPS or something similar with its own mains connected charger then it will take care of the battery for you and do a very good job of it.

If however it is going in a portable type of device that is dependant on you plugging in the charger then a little more care will be required, charge fully before first and as soon as you can after every use, its when the battery is in a discharged state that will shorten its life, if not being used for long periods then charge every two months but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours and never deliberately try to run the energy level down.
