This range of mobility scooters from Kymco has a variety of features you are undoubtedly aware of. They have one thing in common, and that is the batteries that they take. They take a pair of 12v 75ah sealed lead ones, which is what this offer is for. These replacement batteries are valve-regulated. They will not leak even if laid on the side and are not hazardous, so they are safe for public transport.

There is no maintenance required throughout the life of these batteries.
They need charging and vigilance to keep them in good order. Charge fully before first use, they will come out to you almost fully charged, but the first one is still important. Charge after every use and as soon as you can. Leaving them in a discharged state will only shorten the expected life of the cells and cost you money in the long run. If you are not using them for extended periods, charge every two months to attempt to overcome the natural self-discharge that will always hinder rechargeable batteries. Do not charge for more than twenty-four hours.
They are recyclable, so when they have eventually reached the end of their life, please ensure they are directed to a recycler for processing into another product and fulfil an environmentally friendly outcome.

Upgrading?
There maybe some options to extend the amount of miles you can achieve on a single charge with some easy upgrades above which will have a drop down menu for alternatives. Please note the AGM upgrade has 8mm bolts which are suppliied. This is most often not an issue however we have seen some Kymco's with a 6mm eyelet connection, using a file for a couple of minutes will solve this issue.
