Founded in 1911 in America, Eaton now distribute worldwide and their UPS systems are found in many offices. Uninterruptible power supplies are on 24-hours a day to protect computers and networks from voltage spikes and power failures. This page is for the batteries required by the PW5125-120EBM which is powered by 20 x 12v AGM batteries which of course are rechargeable, non-spillable and safe to handle thanks the VRLA.

When the batteries arrive they will be near fully charged but the UPS will still need to complete a full charge which is normal and every UPS system will do this, refer to your manual for more instructions on this. During this period the UPS will not be able to offer its full runtime protection so it's best to run the system without any load to start.
The batteries should last between two - five years in a system like this but this can vary greatly depending on conditions. Ensure ventilation around the device is good and do not use it as a table as many people do, this will overheat the batteries which in turn shortens the life of them.
