When you receive your order from us your new batteries will be almost fully charged, but after starting the engine make sure you go for run as the first charge is always important.

You may not even notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries undertake, never try to discharge the batteries all the way down, this will only reduce the life span and cost you money in the long run, there may well be extended periods where the batteries are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged fully beforehand and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time, just until ready.

This battery is sealed and needs no maintenance, but it still has some of the advantages of a flooded one, that is it can offer a high energy output but without the requirement of regular checking and topping up fluid, it also has lead calcium mixture of cells which will help slow down the natural self discharging and machine overcharging which will lead to a longer life span.
