The batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them before first use, this will not be necessary only if being fitted in something that is always connected to the mains like an alarm system which will do the job for you, the charger will have LED lights which will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, probably not very long at all, you might just want to fit them and use, but that would be unwise, unless as stated above, missing out on charging them first could shorten overall life expectancy
it may well take a number of charges and alternating use in your equipment for the battery to condition and be able to take a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, if being used in a portable device make sure that you charge your new batteries after each and every use, they are capable of many charges but this will reduce if you let run them down in-between, never try to discharge the batteries, it will not rejuvenate them, with this type of technology it will only mean a shorter life, it is important to keep a charge in the batteries for long life, so if there is any period of time where they are not being used then charge before hand and top this up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours
