Even though the batteries you receive from us after placing your order will be almost fully charged you should still complete a full charge before first use, this will not be necessary only if being fitted in something that has its own built in charger that is always connected to the mains like an alarm system which will do the job for you, just charge them until your charger LED lights indicate that they are ready, it will probably not take very long, this first step is important so please do ignore it, unless of course as otherwise stated above, do not use without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span

Unless you are a very extended user you will probably not even notice that it can take a number of charge and use in your equipment before a full capacity charge is achieved, this is all part of the conditioning process and quite normal, if it is being used in a portable device ensure that you charge your new batteries after each and every use, they are capable of many charges but this will reduce if you let run them down in-between, do not try to attempt to fully discharge the batteries, it will not rejuvenate them, in fact the opposite, it will reduce the lifespan and cost you money in the long run, there may be many reasons for the equipment not be used on a regular basis, if there are protracted periods where this is the case then ensure the batteries are charged before hand and then topped up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours at a time
