Even though the batteries you receive from us will be just about fully charged you should still complete a full charge before first use, if it's going into a device that is always connected to the mains like a battery backup for monitoring or alarm system then you can miss this step as it will do it for you, the time of the first charge will be dependent on the charger, just leave it on until its finished, it will probably not take very long, do not be impatient, wait until this first charge has completed, it will contribute to overall battery life.
