This battery pack is recyclable, it has a very high content of lead so ideal for the purpose, please ensure that in years to come it is directed to a recycle centre for this purpose.
Once you have fitted your new battery in the pack you should charge it fully, it should not take long as the battery will be almost fully charged when you receive it. Charge as soon as you can after every use, it does this kind of technology no good if it sits around in a partially discharged state. Also if you are not using it for extended longer periods we would suggest that you top up the charge every eight weeks to minimise the natural self discharge.
